"For both Almeida and Jacquemyn, the music of Peter Kowald was of live-changing importance. ‘Was da ist’ Peter Kowald’s last solo cd, was a door opener for the way Gonçalo approached improvised music and the double bass from then on. Jacquemyn was already long time on that path, he was lucky to have the privilege of a lasting and intense Peter Kowald live experience. Somehow Almeida and Jacquemyn speak the same language or maybe more precisely, they share a strong common ground."
